WebI have a Magnavox VCR/DVD-Recorder combo , I just purchased in order to transfer old VHS tapes to DVD. I just realized the VCR shuts off completely after about 5-10 seconds . It doesn`t just stop the tape, it turns off the unit. I tried the DVD and that one works without any problems . Can anybody tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?
